A pool for children and/or grandchildren

Are you looking for a way to occupy children and help them expend their energy? A pool is an ideal way to encourage children to be physically active while having fun. Water volleyball, freestyle jumping competitions and races against the clock: children will be able to let their imaginations run riot and invent all sorts of games!

Here's the chance to abandon the computer and the TV and enjoy fun family times instead. Children will love inviting their friends round to play, and you'll be able to keep an eye on them. Add a few inflatable pool toys and some delicious teatime treats, and you've got everything you need for the perfect junior pool party!

A pool for family and friends

With a pool in your garden, parties and get-togethers with family and friends will never be the same again. Your garden will become the place to be! Share special moments with your family and friends enjoying the pleasures of the water. Your guests will be delighted to share in lively pool games, relaxing conversations on the steps and poolside pre-dinner drinks. A pool is the ideal space to get together and share some memorable moments.

More than just a family pool

With the addition of steps, your pool will become your favourite relaxation area. You'll be able to enjoy your own leisure space while children make the most of their play area. You can keep an eye on them while you lounge comfortably on the pool steps.

Bonus: Your steps can be equipped with whirlpool jets for even more comfort.

By customising the pool to suit your needs, you'll enable each member of the family to enjoy it in their own way.

What size should a family pool be?

The surface area of a family pool is normally between 20m2 and 40m2. However, there is no 'perfect' size: your choice of pool model and size will be determined by your terrain, your wishes and, most importantly, by how you want to use it. Design your project in such a way that everyone can make the most of the pool: whether your preference is for playing games, relaxing or swimming, you can adapt it to meet your needs.

What is the best depth for a family pool?

It's important to choose the depth of your pool carefully so that everyone feels happy and safe in the water. Three pool-depth profiles are recommended for the ideal family pool:

  • For those who like to be able to touch the bottom anywhere in the pool, the 1.2m flat bottom provides a comfortable and even depth that will suit adults and children alike.
  • For those who love diving:
    • The dished floor allows you to enjoy a deeper central space (up to 1.8m).
    • The mini-well includes an area with a depth of 1.2m with a diamond-shaped deep end of up to 1.8m.
