How can you tell the difference between a concrete pool and a Waterair swimming pool?

Bespoke swimming pools

Like concrete swimming pools, Waterair pools come in many sizes and shapes. With over 90 models and 200,000 variations, Waterair Swimming Pools offers you bespoke pools.
Your garden is unique – so is your pool! That is why Waterair Swimming Pools offers pools of many different shapes. Each of these shapes comes in many different sizes in order to perfectly adapt to your environment. Moreover, Waterair pools can be installed on all types of natural terrain, including steep slopes.
A concrete pool can be made from poured concrete or sprayed concrete. Both techniques yield one-piece pools in reinforced concrete. These processes are nevertheless different from breeze block or “traditional” swimming pools. Even though these techniques are very durable, they are quite costly, especially when you want to customise the pool.
At Waterair Swimming Pools, we offer a selection of equipment to best adapt to the different uses of a family pool, while taking your budget into account. You can choose the dimensions of your pool. Among the shapes, sizes, stairs, and the choice of pool bottom (flat, dished, mini-well or deep end) choose the model that best corresponds to the pool’s future use.
As the years go by, your wishes will evolve and so will your Waterair swimming pool. For example, you can add equipment for increased comfort or ease of maintenance (e.g., modification of the water treatment system) to suit your needs.

Solid structure and 20-year guarantee

Waterair pools benefit from exclusive technology. Their secret? A thick, corrugated steel framework and 4 layers of protection that guarantee mechanical resistance and longevity. That is why the structure of Waterair pools is guaranteed for 20 years*. The quality of our products is completed by ISO 9001 certification to guarantee the satisfaction of our customers.
The structure of a concrete swimming pool is generally guaranteed for 10 years. The covering of a concrete pool ensures its watertightness: it may consist of a liner or another type of covering (tiles, mosaic, etc.). At Waterair, watertightness is provided by a liner that is guaranteed 12 years. *
The Overlap assembly system of our liners is perfect for Waterair pools, including free-form pools. This mounting system enables easy installation of the liner with no need to wait for the pool to be finished, unlike other techniques for which measurements are taken and the liner is ordered once the pool is finished. No more headaches measuring the dimensions of the pool!
Good to know: according to a VERITAS study report (MLH1B970074F), it is proven that Waterair panels resist over 4 times the maximum pressure exerted on the structure of your pool. Moreover, these calculations show that Waterair panels – with an average thickness of 165/100 mm – have a stability superior to a concrete wall of up to 45 cm.

Installation

The installation of a concrete pool must be carried out by a professional because it requires technique and a great deal of expertise. It is therefore delivered ready to use. This type of construction can take a long time (it takes a certain amount of time for the concrete to dry) and can sometimes be influenced by the vagaries of the weather.
With Waterair Swimming Pools, customers can carry out these jobs at their own pace. Thanks to our exclusive technology, it is possible to assemble the pool yourself or to be assisted. Waterair pools are designed to allow customers to work independently and save on labour costs with no compromise on quality.
The self-bearing structure, consisting of galvanised steel panels and covered with a protection in composite material, enables the construction and installation of poolside areas to be staggered during the low season and the pool can be filled once the fine weather arrives.

Renovation

The renovation of a concrete pool is more or less complex, depending on the initial covering (liner, tile, paint).
At Waterair Swimming Pools, renovation is carried out in the same way as the assembly of the pool. Everything has been designed for the customer’s autonomy and for pool renovation to be simple, fast (a few hours) and financially accessible.

Over the last +50 years, more than 133 000 families have chosen a Waterair swimming pool. From design to installation, but also throughout the lifetime of your pool, we provide all the support you need to make your dream of an easy-to-use swimming pool come true.
